2023 Courtesy visit to Hong Kong Housing AuthorityHKICM Immediate Past President Cr Conrad FUNG with Office Bearers, PR & Liaison and RCM/RCS Committee Chairpersons paid a courtesy visit to Hong Kong Housing Authority (HKHA) on 14 November 2023.
Greeted by Deputy Director of Housing (Development & Construction) Stephen K M, LEUNG, JP, Assistant Director (Development & Procurement) LEUNG Hung-wai, Daniel, Chief Structural Engineer WONG Wai-hung, Rayson, Senior Structural Engineer WAT Chun-pan, Ben, and Structure Engineer Jody Yu. IPP FUNG presented an update on the Institute with features on the competence and growing recognition of the Registered Construction Manager professional qualification. Deputy Director LEUNG gave a remarkable overview of the Department’s journey on quality, environmental, safety and housing management system in meeting public expectation.
Constructive and informative exchanges were made between the two organisations on innovation and technology, site safety, and talent development. It is anticipated that closer working relationship between HKICM and HA will be strengthened to tackle future challenges in the industry.
