The Corporate Affiliate Programme

Introduction

The HKICM Corporate Affiliate Programme is established to develop mutually beneficial relationship between the Institute and construction-related organizations. The Programme aims to provide a common platform for useful contacts and information communications within the construction industry as well as to allow affiliated organizations to access the benefits and services at the Institute.

It is envisaged that the Programme will strengthen the HKICM community by bringing together many affiliated organizations that work together with the construction practitioners to make the building industry strive.

Eligibility and Rights

HKICM Corporate Affiliate is open to companies, organizations or institutions carrying out business relating to construction, including but not limited to contractors, consultants, suppliers, distributors and service providers to the construction sector as well as educational institutions, government departments, public authorities and utility companies.

Corporate Affiliates do not belong to any class of HKICM membership, thus have no voting rights at General Meetings and may not be elected to any office of the Institute. In addition, the title of Corporate Affiliate is not transferable and cannot be used by other organizations from the same group, its subsidiaries or related companies. However, change of representatives of the Corporate Affiliate does not affect its status.

As a Corporate Affiliate, you can enjoy a wide range of exclusive privileges, benefits and services of the Institute as well as receive widespread exposure within the Institute and the construction management community which are highlighted as below: –

Designate up to 2 representatives to receive HKICM correspondences and nominate any 2 employees to attend HKICM events and activities at member’s privileges and rates.
Free listing of organization name and logo on “Corporate Affiliate Directory” webpage and at a concessionary rate on the shared “Promotional Banner Space D” of the HKICM website.
2 complimentary promotional e-mail blasts to HKICM membership database per annum.
Concession rates for on-line promotion and job postings on HKICM website.
Sponsorship and exhibition opportunities at reduced rates.
Opportunity to invite HKICM Members to your own hosted promotional seminars or functions.
Sponsorship and networking opportunities through events and activities.

Fees

Application / Entrance Fee (one-off)	HK$1,000.00
Annual Subscription Fee* (1 April to 31 March) (Annual Subscription Fee will be waived for the 2021/22 membership year)	HK$3,000.00
Total	HK$4,000.00

* Subscription fee is charged on an annual basis for affiliates joining between 1 April and 30 September and on a half-year basis at half rate for joining between 1 October and 31 March of the next year.

Application Procedures

Application for Corporate Affiliate will be examined by the Institute according to normal individual membership application procedures.
The application preferrably be supported by a HKICM Corporate Member who is acquainted with the business, work or interests of the applicant.

Complete and return the Application Form together with a copy of Business Registration Certificate and the cheque for the appropriate fees (crossed and made payable to “Hong Kong Institute of Construction Managers’) to:
