2026 Official Launch of the New Standard Form of Building Contract 2025HKICM Vice Presidents, Cr Chan Chi Man, Cr Dick Li (also a member of Joint Institute Task Force of Steering Committee of the SFBC Committee), and Council Member Cr Amanda Wong (also a member of joint institute Task Force of Steering Committee of the SFBC Committee), attended the official launch of the New Standard Form of Building Contract 2025 Edition on 6 Jan 2026.
Jointly developed by HKIA, HKICM, and HKIS, the updated contracts incorporate the requirements of the Security of Payment Ordinance and integrate valuable contributions from industry stakeholders. This achievement represents a significant milestone for the advancement of Hong Kong’s construction industry.
The new suite of contracts includes:
* Agreement & Schedule of Conditions of Building Contract for use in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region – Standard Form of Building Contract (Private Edition) Option 1 – With Quantities, and Option 2 – Without Quantities (2025 Edition)
* Agreement & Schedule of Conditions of Nominated Sub-Contract for use in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (2025 Edition)
* Agreement & Schedule of Conditions of Nominated Supply Contract for use in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (2025 Edition)
These contracts are now available for sale at the HKICM Secretariat Office.
