Program Highlights:

In response to the rapid development of the outbreak of Covid-19 since early 2020, the Architectural Services Department (ArchSD) orchestrated the construction of quarantine camps and temporary hospital started in early February with the application of Modular Integrated Construction (MiC) technology. The concept of MiC method “factory assembly with interior decoration followed by on-site installation” can greatly shorten site construction time and meet the demands arising from the epidemic. It can also enhance productivity, quality control and site safety.

Our speakers, Mr. Sze and Mr. Poon will share their practical experience in the design, construction and transportation aspects including the problem encountered on Quarantine Camps and Temporary Hospital Project.
