Dr Winson YEUNG is the Principal Consultant of the Occupational Safety and Health Council, specializing in occupational safety and health, safety leadership, and organizational safety culture. He is a seasoned safety and health professional with over 30 years of experience.

His professional work emphasizes the integration of psychological safety, human factors, and leadership behaviours into OSH management systems. Dr. Yeung regularly advises senior management teams, safety professionals, and frontline leaders on improving safety leadership, strengthening safety culture & communication, and enhancing learning from incidents and near misses.

He is responsible for managing the “Independent Safety Audit Scheme” and the “Surprise Safety Inspection Scheme” which are tailor-made for the Hong Kong Housing Authority and the Hong Kong Housing Society’s public housing projects. He had also involved in the development of “Guidance Notes and Worked Examples of Design for Safety” for the Development Bureau’s public works project in 2016.

Dr Yeung is a Chartered Member of the Institution of Occupational Safety & Health (IOSH) in the United Kingdom, Member of the International Commission on Occupational Health (ICOH) and the American Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienists (ACGIH).
