Promoting Safety, Health and Environmental Stewardship at Kwu Tung North Project

Located within the Northern Metropolis New Development Area, the Kwu Tung North Project comprises six 25-storey residential buildings offering 2,064 residential units, supported by a 3-storey podium and an integrated Public Transport Interchange (PTI).

As part of the Northern Metropolis – a key engine for Hong Kong’s future development — SHKP is committed to completing the PTI in phases to align with the progressive rollout of transport infrastructure and to enhance overall traffic conditions in the area.

With a strong emphasis on health and safety, the project has extensively implemented the Smart Site Safety System (4S), which integrates advanced technologies including AI Lift & Smart Hook, the intelligent scaffolding monitoring system (TIE.Ai) and an external scaffolding misting system for real-time risk management.

• AI Lift & Smart Hook: it provides real-time alerts for danger zones and personnel detection, while the Smart Hook ensures safe lifting operations through accurate load monitoring.
• TIE.Ai: it is designed for scaffolding safety, integrating IoT, AI and precision sensing to deliver multi-dimensional structural analysis and proactive protection mechanism.
• External Scaffolding Misting System: it helps prevent fire outbreaks on scaffolding, enhancing onsite fire safety and dust depression through automated misting technology.
