HKICM invites you to an exclusive presentation on the new generation of Standard Forms of Building Contracts, the first major update since 2005/2006.
Widely adopted in Hong Kong’s private sector, these forms set the benchmark for contract administration and risk allocation in building projects. The Pinsent Masons team, appointed by the three leading professional institutes, HKIA, HKICM, and HKIS, will share insights into the drafting process and the key changes introduced.
The updated forms reflect industry evolution, incorporate new legislative requirements such as the Construction Industry Security of Payment Ordinance, and promote best practices for fairer risk distribution. This is your opportunity to understand what’s new and how these changes will impact architects, surveyors, and construction managers.
