Promoting Safety, Health and Environmental Stewardship at Kai Tak Area 2B1 Project
Kai Tak Area 2B1 Project, featuring two 40-storey residential buildings with 1,800 subsidized flat units and a 2-storey retail belt.
Prioritizing health and safety, the project widely adopted the Smart Site Safety System (4S), integrating fingerprint biometric authentication and AI technology for real-time risk management.
The MiC site office, designed for modular reusability, includes leisure facilities that foster well-being among workers and reduce stress-related safety risks. This design exemplifies the collaboration between client and main contractor, contributing to the development of the construction industry.
The cross-disciplinary approaches ensure comprehensive safety measures, while MiMEP and DfMA techniques enhance onsite efficiency and reduce hazards.
