Ivy is a chartered quantity surveyor with over 17 years working experience and now specialized in quantum expert witness works across APAC regions, South America and the Middle East. Her areas of expertise cover contract administration, claims management, expert witness work for mega scale multi-disciplinary civil infrastructure energy, airport, cross-border facilities, hospital, recreation facilities, etc.) and various types of building projects.
Ivy also had solid experience of quantity surveying work from pre-contract stage, i.e. starting from land bidding on developer side, through the whole process up to the end of post-contract stage, i.e. final account settlement on Main Contractor side. She is now focusing on the dispute resolution procedure including mediation, adjudication, arbitration and litigation.
Ivy is also a practicing general mediator, a construction adjudicator, a visiting lecturer for bachelor’s degree on QS disciplines in the university and occasionally delivers talks for the topics of contract administration, dispute resolution and career development invited by professional institutes and universities from the UK, India and Hong Kong.
