The Challenges of an Authorized Signatory (AS)

In this talk, Cr Simon Leung will introduce the different categories of AS under registration system in Buildings Department. It will cover the statutory control mechanism and the required qualification of AS. Mr. Leung will also highlight the statutory role, function, and duties of AS as well as Site Safety Supervision Plan.

Cr Joey Ho will introduce the Practice Notes for Registered Contractors (PNRC) and highlight the key PNRCs and the latest updates. Ms. Ho will also highlight the risks of being an AS and review prosecutions related to AS in recent years.
