Brief details of the talk
Owing to the shortage of quantity surveyors, the industry needs to enhance the efficiency of quantity surveying works. Therefore, applying the new technology onto the QS’s works is critical for tasks completed in a more effective manner. It is the new era for our young QS talents in exploring and applying the new tech in costing, estimating, measurement and contracting. In fact, it is a door of opportunity for the QS to further develop in our professional. The speaker will share with his experience in applying the BIM, 5D, internet, IOT, data management, AI and cloud computing. Cases are also shared and the talk is aimed at to trigger our thinking with the new mindset in the QS professional.
