Nowadays, DfMA and MiMEP is commonly adopted in the Hong Kong Construction Industry. One of the major reasons of adopting MiMEP in Lift Machine Room is that Lift Installation is always a critical activity in a building project, ie. critical to Fire Services and Occupation Permit inspections.
Cr Ir Chan will demonstrate the details of the MiMEP incorporating with the structure construction and how the lift installation period can be expedited by pre-assembly of lift machineries and some necessary components in parallel with the construction of structure. Its considerations like benefits, cost and statutory procedures will also be elaborated in the webinar.
More than that, experiences sharing on adoption of this technology in various clients ie. government and private sectors will be highlighted.
