Synopsis of the event:

Farrells is one of the BIM pioneers which has executed holistic digital transformation for nearly a decade with integration of BIM technology in several high complexity local projects, as lead architect in entire project cycle even while BIM was not a mandatory contract requirement yet.

Farrells commenced office-wide BIM adoption and training since 2013 on multiple local projects to improve the productivity and design quality.

In this seminar, Farrells’ directors Felix and Rachel will discuss HKSAR’s policies on BIM and share their experience from the journey of implementation and adoption of this new technology on various projects:

  • How did HKSAR’s BIM policies shape our industry on advanced technology?
  • Does the adoption of BIM enhance communication, programme certainty and budget control?
  • What are the challenges of full BIM adoption in building project amongst professions?
  • The future of BIM in Hong Kong?
