2024 跟進業界提出關注的關於工地安全的責任問題會議香港營造師學會會長孟家榮營造師及副會長陳智敏營造師於2月21日在立法會綜合大樓會議室出席由謝偉銓立法會議員安排的「跟進業界提出關注的關於工地安全的責任問題會議」，與發展局局長面談有關業界安全綜合情況。會議中，會長點出了業界現在情況、以及管工身為重要持份者，應該需要經過高度培訓，亦要有合適註冊制度輔助，提升業界表現，註冊營造監督RCS 正可以填補這個業界短版。
