2024 建造業乒乓球比賽2024感謝一眾晉級的會員於2024年4月28日代表香港營造師學會出戰「建造業乒乓球比賽2024」的決賽日。體育及活動委員會主席黃偉倫營造師、出版委員會副主席郭浩泉營造師於當日到場支持一眾選手，最終在建造業高手林立之下香港營造師學會一共取得3冠軍、1季軍、1殿軍的佳績。
包括單打賽方面會員卓建南先生取得男子長青組冠軍、會員王祚潤先生取得男子工友組冠軍、會員余志光先生取得男子樂活組冠軍，會員范向盈小姐取得女子先進組殿軍、雙打賽方面會員卓建南及余志光先生在男子雙打取得季軍，恭喜一眾得獎選手。賽事圓滿結束，再次感謝這次代表學會参與比賽的所有會員！

2024 Courtesy visit to Development BureauHKICM President, Cr Terence MANG with core Office Bearers and PR & Liaison as well as CPD Committee representatives paid a courtesy visit to Development Bureau on 25th April.
Greeted by Permanent Secretary for Development (Works) Mr Chun-kit LAU, Ricky, JP, Deputy Secretary (Works) Mr HO Ying-kit, Tony, Principal Assistant Secretary (Works) Mr LEUNG Hon-wan, David, Acting Chief Assistant Secretary (Works) Mr CHEUNG Lik-Hang, Adrian, and Assistant Secretary (Works) Mr Kinson LAM. President MANG presented an update on the Institute with highlights on the irreplaceable role of construction manager and supervisor as well as our undertaking to tackle safety and quality challenges in the industry. Permanent Secretary LAU gave an enlightening overview of initiatives advanced by the Bureau, covering design for safety, construction cost control, manpower shortage and declining productivity, application of innovative construction methods and technologies, combating climate change and land development etc. Constructive dialogues were made between the two organisations.
Close collaboration and partnership relationship between HKICM and Development Bureau will be progressed to resolve key issues and future challenges of construction industry.
We are grateful for the presence of HKICM First Vice President, Cr Alfred TANG, Vice President Cr Dick LI and Cr Chi-man CHAN, Honorary Secretary Cr Perry LO, PR & Liaison Committee Chairperson Cr Derek LEUNG, and CPD Committee Chairperson Cr Betty LO.
