The Institute operates under its Articles of Association, Rules of Conduct and the applicable Regulations, including Construction Managers Registration Regulations and Construction Supervisors Registration Regulations.
Our core objective is to support and protect the construction management profession by upholding professional standards with an aim to provide a strong voice for construction management professionals.
The General Council is the governing body of the Institute which consists of 8 Office Bearers, including the President, an Immediate Past President, 3 Vice-Presidents, 2 Honorary Secretaries and an Honorary Treasurer, a total of 12 Council Members and a number of Co-opted Members who are elected for a period of one year.
Boards and Committees
At present, there are 5 main operational boards and each has a number of committees, workgroups and panels which report into it to support the works of the Institute in developing and advising on policies, strategies and activities relevant for their areas of the Institute. All operational boards are chaired by the relevant Office Bearers and made up of Council and Co-opted Members.
