How to design Green Basement Waterproofing based on BS8102 Code of Practice

26 November 2026

The seminar explores how the BS 8102 Code of Practice for basement waterproofing can be applied to sustainability and green building design. We will begin by outlining the three system types defined in BS 8102—Type A (barrier), Type B (integral), and Type C (drained cavity)—and examine how each can be optimised for durability and reduced environmental impact.

By the end of the seminar, participants will understand how to design basements that are not only watertight but also sustainable, resource-efficient, and supportive of long-term environmental goals.
