The Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) Committee of HKICM successfully hosted a seminar titled “Transforming Construction Safety: Harnessing AI for a Safer Tomorrow” on 9 June 2025. The event featured a presentation by Andy Hsu, VP of Innovation & Commercial at viAct, who demonstrated the practical applications of Generative AI in construction safety.
Participants explored how Smart Site Safety Systems leverage AI to enhance workplace safety, mitigate risks, and improve operational efficiency. The seminar highlighted real-world applications of AI solutions, increasing awareness of their potential within the construction industry.
