The quantity surveying profession evolved in the Hong Kong construction industry some eighty years ago. Over the decades, many quantity surveyors have dedicated their time and effort to escalating the professionalism of quantity surveyors, developing and strengthening the regime of quantity surveying, and collaborating with the government and other professional disciplines. The professional quantity surveyor is one of the important pillars of the local construction industry.
Organised by the Quantity Surveying Division (QSD) of The Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors since 2022, the QS Awards aims to express recognition to outstanding quantity surveyors in Hong Kong for their professional achievements, their contributions to successful project deliveries, their support to nurturing the young quantity surveyors, and their contributions to the growth and development of the local construction industry and the community.
