HKICM organised the CPD The Challenges of an Authorized Signatory (AS) on 23 May 2024.
Cr Simon LEUNG, and Cr Joey HO, speakers for the CPD, shared with the audience about the professional knowledge and experience including the different categories of AS under registration system in Buildings Department. It will cover the statutory control mechanism and the required qualification of AS. Highlight the statutory role, function, and duties of AS as well as Site Safety Supervision Plan. The Practice Notes for Registered Contractors (PNRC) and highlight the key PNRCs and the latest updates. Also highlight the risks of being an AS and review prosecutions related to AS in recent years.
The CPD was highly informative and meaningful with lot of exchanges and interactions among the speakers and participants.
