Organised by HKICM, the CPD Visit “Site Visit to the Dedicated Rehousing Estate at Kwu Tung North Area 24 Project, Hong Kong Housing Society – MiC” was successfully held on 3 June 2026.
Mr. Edwin LAI (Project Manager – Hip Hing Engineering Co. Ltd.) and Ir Vickel W.H. LEE (Manager (Engineering) – Hip Hing Engineering Co. Ltd.) shared their extensive expertise on Introduction to the HKHS Dedicated Rehousing Estate at the Kwu Tung North Area 24 Project; Overview of the MiC Collaboration Office; Explanation of the Concrete MiC Construction Methodology; Discussion on Design for Safety in Concrete MiC Construction Methodology; Review of pain points and lessons learned from Concrete MiC construction; Implementation of MiMEP for the Lift Machine Room, and Observation of the installation process of Concrete MiC modules on the construction floor. The session concluded with an interactive Q&A.
The CPD was highly informative and meaningful with exchanges and interactions among the speakers and the participants.
