HKICM organised the CPD event – Site Visit to Student Hostel at Whitehead, Ma On Shan for City University of Hong Kong on 8 July 2023.
Mr Cliff Leung(Senior Construction Manager of Gammon Construction Limited), speaker for the CPD, shared with the audience his professional knowledge and experience including :
guiding this informative site visit . This impressive student hostel comprises six towers of varying heights, between 13 and 18 storeys, providing over 2,000 accommodation spaces. It stands to become the world’s largest student hostel, in terms of bed places, constructed using MiC (Modular Integrated Construction).
Mr Leung’s experience sharing and the arrangement of a real-time MiC installation demonstration greatly enriched participants’ knowledge and understanding of construction management expertise. It was an invaluable opportunity for all involved.
Souvenirs were presented to Mr Cliff Leung as a token of appreciation for his excellent presentation.
