HKICM organised the CPD site visit – Site Visit to Commercial Development Project on 50 Queen’s Road East (Six Pacific Place) 16 December 2023
Mr. Alex FUNG (Senior Project Manager of Gammon Construction Limited), speaker for the CPD, shared with the audience about his professional knowledge and experience including the
- Safety – Safety culture promotion, development and maintenance
- Sustainability – 100% Low carbon concrete, 60% Low carbon rebar (Final 80%), Zero Generator (i.e. Early grid power 800 Amp), Rebar waste and temp facilities reuse sharing
- Quality – Concrete grade demarcation BIM model, Quality lesson learnt sharing
- Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) – Good mood promotion
- Innovation (Site) – Rebar cap with cable hook, Mobile Sub-contractor shed, CO2 sensor to control exhaust fan operation, wireless water spray device (Dust control)
- Innovation (Technology) – BIM full implementation, AI CAM, 5G network, VR training, BIM/ VR adoption, CAVE, Smart Helmet, Smart Watch
- Innovation (Robotic): RISE – Lift shaft drilling and fixing anchor bolts, Jaibot – Ceiling soffit drilling with vacuum cleaner, Square Dog – Curtain wall water test
- DfMA: Chiller pipes, Cooling tower pipes, Office ceiling trunking, Hoarding
The CPD was highly informative and meaningful with lot of exchanges and interactions among the speakers and participants.
