Dear Members,
Happy New Year! 2022 is the beginning of a new chapter. My dearest heartfelt wishes to you and your family. May this year be full of hope, joy and opportunity.
It is my immense pleasure and honor to be elected as the President for the 2021/2022 session on the 25th Anniversary. I wish to extend my great gratitude to the Immediate Past President Cr. Tony Za for his wonderful service and remarkable achievements during his presidency in our institute despite the unprecedented time. Besides, my sincere thanks to the 2020/2021 Council and Committee members for their hard work and selfless contributions to the institute that made all the success in the past year under the IPP’s leadership. I have no doubt the Council and Committee members of this term would endeavor to bring our institution from strength to strength.
In celebrating our 25th Anniversary we held the “25th Anniversary Logo and Slogan Competition” and the “25th Anniversary Gala” last year. The winning slogan “Shape our future, Cultivate leaders” is indeed the vision of our institute. We had our new corporate video first launched at the 25th Anniversary Gala during which we reiterated the importance of the R.C.M. registration as it regulates and upholds the quality of the construction management profession. To continue with our 25th Anniversary celebration, we will organize a Charity Run during the year should the situation allows. The 25th Anniversary Dinner cum CMA 2022 would certainly be the climax of the 25th Anniversary celebration.
The new HKICM website has just been launched recently. The website provides a brand-new experience and offers various improved services to our members. This aligns with the spirit of our institution to facilitate the continuous improvement of our profession.
I feel so blessed to be entrusted with the responsibility to serve the institution. Your unfailing support to the institution would be my driving force to move forward.
