The HKICM 23rd Anniversary Dinner cum Construction Management Awards (CMA) 2020 Presentation Ceremony was successfully held on Friday, 27 August 2021 at the JW Marriott Ballroom, JW Marriott Hotel Hong Kong in Admiralty, Hong Kong.  We were delighted to have Ir LAM Sai Hung, GBS, JP, Permanent Secretary for Development (Works), Development Bureau as our Guest-of-Honour as well as Mr CHAN Ka Kui, SBS, BBS, JP, Chairman, Construction Industry Council and Mr YU Tak Cheung, JP, Director of Buildings, Buildings Department, Head Juror of CMA 2020 as VIP guests.  In addition, nearly 360 distinguished guests and members joining us that evening, including officials from Government Departments and Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in HKSAR, prominent figures from professional bodies and academic institutions, senior executives of major developers, consultants and contractors, delegates of trade organizations and associations as well as HKICM Honorary Fellows, Past Presidents, Councillors and members to join the event.

The ceremony started with a welcome remark by HKICM President Cr Tony ZA and Immediate Past President Cr Daniel SHUM to greet all the distinguished guests and members, and then followed by an opening address by the Guest-of-Honour, Ir LAM Sai Hung, GBS, JP, Permanent Secretary for Development (Works), Development Bureau. They highlighted the main theme of the event “New Era – New Challenges” to recap the success and contributions done to the construction industry of Hong Kong, particularly in coping with the challenges of construction management, quality and safety.

Thanks again for all your kind support to give us another memorable Anniversary Dinner and witnessed the outstanding achievements of industry professionals. Congratulations to all awardees of the CMA 2020 for their outstanding achievements and success. We hope you enjoyed the event together with your old and new friends as well as with our Council members. The President, Cr Tony ZA together with Chairman of the Events Organizing Committee, Cr Conrad FUNG, would like to take this opportunity to thank the Guest-of-Honour, distinguished guests, Sponsors, Supporting Organizations, Media Partners, Organizing Committee, Event Secretariat, staff of Secretariat Office and all HKICM members for their uncompromised dedication to make this event our best.
