New Engineering Contract (NEC) – Engineering and Construction Contract (ECC) Hong Kong Edition Briefing Session

The New Engineering Contract (NEC) – Engineering and Construction Contract (ECC) Hong Kong Edition, launched by the Development Bureau in collaboration with NEC, represents a significant advancement in collaborative construction. This edition adapts the standard contract to align with local legislation, procurement practices, and dispute resolution. Additionally, it promotes innovation technology within the industry while leveraging NEC’s best practice project management principles.

The NEC and the Construction Industry Council have extended invitations to the representatives from the Development Bureau and the drafter of the NEC ECC HK edition. They will conduct a briefing session for industry practitioners, covering the overview of NEC ECC HK Edition and highlighting key differences between NEC ECC and NEC ECC HK Edition.
