HKICM President Cr Conrad FUNG, Vice Presidents Cr Terence MANG, Cr Billy LEE, Cr Dick LI, Honorary Secretary Cr Ricky LI and Secretary General Ernest LEUNG made a courtesy visit to Sr Winnie SHIU, Director of Hong Kong Institution of Construction (HKIC) on 6th September 2022.
Sr Shiu gave an impressive overview of HKIC, and the Institute’s efforts in training and upskilling practitioners in construction. President Cr Fung extended HKICM’s intent on closer collaboration and working relationship with HKIC in return. Going forward, the introduction of various professional courses and rejuvenation of a diverse range of current programs accredited by HKQAAVC would scale up HKIC’s role in talent development, which both parties conceded will have ample opportunities for members of HKICM to contribute to the works of HKIC and CIC in general.
The delegates also expressed their gratitude to Sr Shiu and HKIC team on showcasing the Kowloon Bay campus during this meaningful and information packed visit.
