The HKICM 27th Anniversary Dinner cum Construction Management Awards (CMA) 2024 Presentation Ceremony was completed on Monday, 18 November 2024 at the Convention Hall, Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. We were delighted to have Ms HO Wing Yin, Winnie, JP, Secretary for Housing as our Guest-of-Honour as well as Cr Eddie K. W. LAM, MH, awardee of Outstanding Achievement Award, Ir LAU Chun Kit, Permanent Secretary for Development (Works), Ms. YU Po Mei, JP, Director of Buildings, Head Juror (Building Project), and Ir FONG Hok Sing, Michael, JP, Director of Civil Engineering & Development, Head Juror (Civil Project) of CMA 2024 as VIP guests. In addition, over 600 distinguished guests joining us that evening, including officials from Government Departments and Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in HKSAR, prominent figures from professional bodies and academic institutions, senior executives of major developers, consultants and contractors, delegates of trade organizations and associations as well as HKICM Honorary Fellows, Past Presidents, Councillors and members to join the event.

HKICM President Cr Terence MANG initiated the ceremony by expressing a welcome greeting to all the distinguished guests and members. It was followed by an opening address by the Guest-of-Honour, Mr TAI Sheung Sing, Victor, JP Under Secretary for Housing. They have presented a succinct reflection of the topical concerns regarding digital transformation and the success and contributions made to the construction industry, particularly in dealing with the challenges of construction management, quality, and safety.
