The speaker will discuss the implications of the decision of Hip Hing Construction Company Limited v Hong Kong Airlines Limited [2024] HKCFI 370 to the construction industry. In particular, the speaker will examine the analysis by the Court on the relevant principles in determining whether a valid trust exists over retention monies in a given case.
