In recent years, the construction workforce in Hong Kong has experienced unprecedented ageing and manpower shortage. The issue is further escalated as next generation talents show little interest in joining the industry. Despite effort in introducing innovative technology to raise productivity and attract newcomers, many medium and small sized companies still find it difficult to reap the benefits due to a limitation of resources. With the theme of “Construction at the Crossroads”, the Conference will address the constraints and challenges the construction industry faces and identify ways that lead us to a thriving future.
