In accordance with the Articles of Association and the Disciplinary Regulations of the Institute, the General Council, at its meeting on 3 December, has considered the recommendations of the Disciplinary Panel regarding the case of Mr So Shun-ching.
In view of the gravity of the offence, for which Mr So has been convicted of bribery and sentenced to 30 months’ imprisonment, and its incompatibility with the standards expected of members of the Institute, the General Council has resolved that Mr So’s membership be expunged from the Register of Members of the Institute.
This decision reflects the Institute’s commitment to upholding the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and accountability within the construction management profession. Members are reminded of their responsibility to always maintain conduct consistent with these values.
