Highlights of the Seminar
The seminar is aimed at construction professionals who wish to understand why many seemingly strong claims end up failing. It will give concrete tools and strategies to protect our contractual rights and increase the chance of success if a dispute arises.
Key takeaways:
(1) Seven reasons claims fail
See how procedural errors and missing cause-and-effect links can weaken a claim.
(2) Turn complex contract language into everyday site actions
Learn how to apply contract clauses to daily work so our rights are always protected.
(3) Identify “Claim killers” early
Recognize the pitfalls that can arise from pre-tender stage all the way through to the final account.
(4) Know which records win disputes
Discover the key categories of project documentation that are most persuasive in Court or Arbitration.
(5) Link on-site events direct to contract
Master techniques for connecting what happens on-site to the exact contract provisions that support your claims.
(6) Dispute handling and the winning formula
Implement a 5-step resolution process and embrace the three non-negotiable elements of success.
By the end of the seminar, the audience will have a practical, step-by-step roadmap for building stronger claims, protecting your contractual rights, and navigating disputes with confidence.
