We are pleased to announce that the revamped CIC Standard Form of Domestic Sub‑Contract (“CIC Standard Form”) has been officially launched by the Construction Industry Council (CIC).
The revised Standard Form was endorsed by the Task Force on 26 August 2026 and subsequently approved on 18 September 2026. The final publication version has now been launched on the CIC website:
- Reference Materials for Standard Form of Domestic Sub-Contract Main Booklet (Standard Clauses)
- Reference Materials for Standard Form of Domestic Sub-Contract Supplementary Booklet (with Optional Clauses)
To facilitate industry adoption, CIC will be introducing briefing sessions, interactive topical workshops, and supporting tools, including an easy guide and videos, to enhance understanding and practical application of the CIC Standard Form.
Members are strongly encouraged to adopt the revamped CIC Standard Form in future projects to support equitable risk allocation and promote good contracting practices across the subcontracting chain.
