HKICM organised the CPD Design For Safety And Quality In Anchor & Rebar Connection on 7 June 2024.

Derek LAM, Gary LUK, Eric SO and Ricky YAU shared with the audience the professional knowledge and experience including focus on steel-to-concrete and concrete-to-concrete connection types, explaining corresponding design concepts and technical requirements. Control of workmanship was also highlighted as the key contributing factor on safety and quality. Furthermore, Hilti presented innovative methodologies for enhancing the quality control in anchorage connection, such as proper product selection, equipment and management process, followed by a Q&A session.

The CPD was highly informative and meaningful with lot of exchanges and interactions among the speakers and participants.

Special thanks to Cr Betty LO (Chairperson of HKICM CPD Committee) and Cr Angel MAN (Member of HKICM CPD Committee) for the efforts in organising and joining this CPD event.

Finally, certificates of appreciation were presented to Derek LAM, Gary LUK, Eric SO and Ricky YAU for the excellent sharing and presentation.
