Robotic Plasma Cutting & Welding Capping Plate on Site and other construction robotic application:
Latest development is Robotic Plasma Cutting & Welding Capping Plate which has been adopted in the Architectural Services Department’s Project in 2011. Welding & cutting quality and productivity were significantly improved with the innovative robotic application. Mr. Lee will share and exchange the experience of different application in construction process.

Mr. Carlos Lee

Mr. Carlos Lee is the Chief Executive Office & Chief Engineer of O-Matic Intelligent Robot Limited.  Mr. Lee has been involving in the area Robotic Applications Development and automation production over 20 years and owned more than 50 patents with core technologies. The major technology platforms are based on cable robot, 6-axix collaborative robot and universal services vehicle.

 

In 2016, Mr. Lee is invited by STP HK to establish the business focusing on construction robotic development.  In past five years, O-Matic has applied the wide range robotic solutions in public works projects and its solution is on the list of CIC pre-approved item.

Mr Joseph Chung

Joseph Chung is a Solicitor Advocate. He is also a registered foreign lawyer of the
Singapore International Commercial Court. He was previously a Barrister until he became a Solicitor in 2001. He is also a fellow member of the Chartered Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors.

Joseph has extensive experience in all aspects of construction in both private and public sector work, advising developers, contractors, consultants and banks.

Over the years in his practice as a lawyer, he has been involved in many high profile construction projects, including the Hong Kong airport core project, the Express Rail Link and the Hong Kong-Macau-Zhuhui Bridge. He was involved in the Commission of Inquiry into Excess Lead found in Drinking Water in 2015/2016.
